Kristi’s Tiger Nears Half-Million Dollar Mark

Arcadia, CA (December 31, 2023) – Kristi’s Tiger scored her third win of 2023 and her eighth overall coming home best in the 4th race at Santa Anita, a seven furlong allowance over the fast main track for a purse of $79,962.

Sitting a couple of lengths off the early pace battle, the Smiling Tiger mare saved ground early and came out around the turn to launch her bid. She caught the leaders inside the final furlong and cleared late to win by going away by thre-quarters of a length.

Inching ever closer to the half-million mark in earnings, Kristi’s Tiger raised her bankroll to $458,766 for owners Mi Familia Racing Stable and Rockingham Ranch. Bred by Premier Thoroughbreds and Alan Klein, she is trained by Librado Barocio. She is out of the Indian Charlie mare, Lottawampum.
