Man O Rose Romps in Santa Anita Allowance

Arcadia, CA (December 29, 2023) – Man O Rose took the lead at the start and fought off all challenges to win the 3rd race at Santa Anita, a six furlong allowance over the turf for a purse of $68,000.

The 3-year-old Stanford gelding dashed away early and was never headed. Another came calling around the turn, but was quickly rebuffed. He kept on strongly through the stretch to win by a length and one-quarter in a final time of 1:08.76.

Man O Rose is a third generation homebred for B & B Zietz Stables, Inc. Produced by the multiple stakes-placed Good Journey mare, Kathleen Rose, he has won or placed in four of his five career starts and he has earned $101,700. He is trained by Jeff Mullins.
