Harris-Sired Trifecta with Smiling Tiger’s 1-2 in Golden Gate 2yo MSW

Albany, CA (May 14, 2023) – It was a Harris Farms-sired trifecta in the juvenile maiden special weight run as the 3rd race at Golden Gate Fields!

Smiling Tiger was responsible for the first two finishers in the four and one-half furlong dash, as Grand Slam Smile, who was highly touted and bet down to seventy cents on the dollar, deliverd in her debut with a rousing, frontrunning four length score in 52.06. The time was 4/5 of a second off the track record.

Rallying for second was Blevys Tiger and the third place laurels went to Conquest Farenheit’s Lusma. All three fillies were making their racing debuts.
