Halladay’s First Starter Earns Black-Type in Debut
Hallendale, FL (May 10, 2025) – Freshman Sire Halladay’s first runner Arkadelphia made his racing debut in the $100,000 Royal Palm Juvenile Stakes at Gulfstream Park and he came away with black-type, finishing third in the five furlong turf contest which closed out the card at Gulfstream Park.
With the winner bound for an engagement at Royal Ascot, the dark bay gelding was keeping some fine company. He races as a homebred for Harrel Ventures, LLC and he is trained by Luis Mendez. He is out of the winning City Zip mare, Chili Petin.
