Vronsky’s On Mars a Model of Consistency

Del Mar, CA (November 15, 2020) – On Mars, the 3-year-old daughter of Vronsky is the absolute model of consistency. She has made nine career starts and has come home in the top three in eight of those nine outings and has never missed being part of the superfecta. Today, she was at the top of the ticket with her victory in the 7th race at Del Mar, a $70,120 allowance going one mile over the firm turf course.

On Mars rated in the second tier as the pacesetter went out and opened up by double digits. She began to draw closer to the leader around the far turn and at the top of the stretch. In fairness, the leader had carved out very speedy fractions and was not stopping. On Mars was the only runner to catch her, which she did in midstretch and she drew away to win by a length and one-half. The final time for the distance was 1:34.24.

On Mars was bred by and races for Andrew Molasky’s Old Bones Racing Stable and Ed Bernstein. Produced by the winning Cyclotron mare, Elana Mar, she is trained by Phil D’Amato. The victory takes her earnings to $161,520.
