Harris Farms’ homebred Moving Fast Does So in Turf Debut

Del Mar, CA (November 14, 2020) – Moving Fast, our homebred 2-year-old son of Jeranimo, made his turf debut a winning one, taking the nightcap at Del Mar, a one mile maiden special weight.

Moving Fast began his career in two dirt sprints, finishing third last time out. Switching surfaces and adding distance certainly suited him today. Breaking well, jockey Drayden Van Dyke allowed him to settle and get a ground saving trip for the first six furlongs. He moved closer around the turn and came off the rail to mount his challenge. He caught the leaders inside the final furlong and he kept on with his task, ears flickering, to win by a half-length. They finished the journey in 1:36.17.

Moving Fast was produced by the Harris Farms’ bred, multiple stakes-placed Desert Code mare, Moving Desert. He is trained by Sean McCarthy.
