Headed for Om Easily Wins Santa Anita Allowance

Arcadia, CA (May 3, 2024) – Headed for Om, bred by Harris Farms, took another step up up the class ladder with her victory in the 2nd race at Santa Anita, a six furlong allowance over the firm turf course.

The 3-year-old daughter of Om was full of run from the start, but settled nicely behind the leading pair down the backstretch and around the turn. Under a confident hand ride by Hector Berrios, the pair moved outside at the top of the stretch and easily took over. She cleared the field and came home with plenty left in the tank to win by two and one-half lengths.

Campaigned by Hronis Racing LLC and trained by John Sadler, Headed for Om has two wins and a second in four career starts and she has now earned $82,260. She is out of the winning Harlan’s Holiday mare, Elusive Holiday.
