Majestic Harbor’s Diamond Solitaire Goes over $150,000 in Earnings
Shelbyville, IN (October 14, 2021) – Diamond Solitaire, the 3-year-old daughter of California’s Leading Second Crop Sire Majestic Harbor, took her earning to $154,413 with her victory in the 8th race at Indiana Grand, a one mile allowance over the fast main track.
Diamond Solitaire was away well and settled three lengths off the pace around the first turn and down the backstretch. She began closing and with a quarter-mile to go, she was vying for the lead. Jockey Marcelino guided her to the lead and she drew away, keeping plenty in the tank for next time. She won, as the chart said, “handily” by three lengths.
Diamond Solitaire was bred by David W. Osborne, Loren Hebel Osbourne, and Warren Gene McLean, she is out of the Sightseeing mare, Diamond Seeker. She races for the Diamond Solitaire Partnership and trained by Stephen Lyster.
