Jazzy Win for Rock’n a Halo in NOLA

New Orleans, LA (January 11, 2025) – Making a very professional start to his 4-year-old season, the stakes-placed Rock’n a Halo carried forward the surface versatility of his sire Catholic Boy, with his win over the main track in 7th race at Fair Grounds.

Originally scheduled for the about mile distance on the turf, weather dictated moving the allowance fare to a mile and seventy yards over the dirt. The switch mattered not, as the 4-year old gelding has victories over both in his career. Breaking sharply under jockey Declan Cannon., he got a sweet rail trip, pressing the pace and putting the rest away with a furlong to run. He drew off to win by three lengths.
