Harris Farms’ Homebred Quickly Park It Romps in Pike Place Dancer S.

Albany, CA (October 29, 2022) – Making her stakes debut, Harris Farms’ homebred Quickly Park It came home the decisive winner in the $75,900 Pike Place Dancer Stakes going one mile over the firm turf course at Golden Gate Fields.

Quickly Park It began her career with a fourth place finish at Del Mar and she earned her maiden special weight diploma in her second start at the seaside oval. Sent north for today’s added money event, she proved more than up to the task. Trailing the field for the first half-mile, jockey William Antongeorgi asked her to pick it up and she responded. Finding a rail run around the final turn she moved from last to second and took aim at the leader at the top of the stretch. Switched outside, she flew past the leader with little encouragement and drew away in hand to win by six lengths in an eye-catching performance.

Quickly Park it is a third generation Harris Farms homebred. She is by Prospect Park out of the winning Lucky J. H. mare, Quick Luck. She is trained by Sean McCarthy
