Two Stakes Performances March 22 by Stanford Runners

Phoenix, AZ (March 22, 2025) – Stanford runners Flame McGoon and Prayer of Jabez both earned black-type today.

Flame McGoon earned the first stakes performance of her career with a second place finish in the $60,000 Queen of the Green Handicap going one mile over the turf course at Turf Paradise. She has won or placed in eight of her fifteen career starts and she has earned $152,315.

On the same card, Prayer of Jabez earned black-type for the second time with his third place finish in the $50,000 Phoenix Gold Cup going six furlongs over the main track at Turf Paradise. Prayer of Jabez has won or placed in 22 of his 34 starts and he has earned $222,526.
