Three Winners at Pleasanton with Harris Connections
Coalinga, CA (June 20, 2020) – Three horses with connections to Harris Farms came home winners on the June 20th card at Pleasanton.
Fireitup, the 2-year-old daughter of Desert Code, who was second in her debut, broke her maiden second time out in the 1st race going five furlongs by two and one-quarter lengths. Bred in California by Woodbridge Farm LLC & Lilley Ranch, she is out of the Comic Strip mare, Lady Deputy. She races for her trainer Quinn Howey.
Completing the early daily double, Drippin Sauce, the 3-year-old Vronsky gelding, came home best by a half-length in the 2nd race, a six furlong allowance. Bred by Old English Rancho, he was produced by the Bold Badgett mare, Always Fashionable. He is trained by Jonathan Wong for Slam Dunk Racing and Michael Nentwig.
The third winner was the filly Warm Summer, who was bred by Harris Farms and Gary Parker. The 3-year-old won the 7th race, a five and one-half furlong allowance by one length. The Clubhouse Ride-Valley Storm, by Moscow Ballet daughter races for Paradise Road Ranch LLC, David Crossley, Jose Parga, Daniel Preiss, and Angel Valadez. She is trained by O. Jauregui.
