Tam’s Little Angel Wins She’s a Tiger Stakes

Pleasanton, CA (June 25, 2022) – Tam’s Little Angel, the 3-year-old daughter of California’s Leading Third Crop Sire Tamarando, defeated a field that included older stakes winning fillies and mares to earn the first added money victory of her career in the $77,250 She’s a Tiger Stake going a mile and one-sixteenth at Pleasanton.

The second generation homebred for Larry and Marianne Williams went straight to the lead and was under mild pressure through the opening half mile. The challenges came from that point on, but despite their best efforts, Tam’s Little Angel had an answer for every one. She would not yield and fought every step to the wire to win by a well earned nose.

Tam’s Little Angel has never finished worse than third in her ten career starts, with three of her four career victories coming this season. Trained by Steven Specht, she has earned $155,972. She was produced by the Lucky Pulpit mare, Angel Diane. She is the second stakes winner of 2022 for her sire.
