Tamarando Filly Scores Second Straight Allowance Win

Fresno, CA (October 14, 2023) – Tamara Mine made it two-in-a-row and four wins on the season with her latest victory in the 7th race at the Big Fresno Fair, a six furlong allowance.

The 4-year-old Tamarando filly was second after the break and she went about making her presence felt by the leader. She took over on the backstretch and fought tooth and nail the rest of the way. Her determined effort was not in vain ans she held them all off to win by a head.

Tamara Mine has won or placed in nine of her fifteen career starts and she has earned $117,710. She races for Frankly Speaking, LLC and she is trained by Isidro Tamayo. Bred by Mr. and Mrs. Larry D. Williams, she is out of the multiple stakes winning Benchmark mare, Marks Mine.
