Arcadia, CA (May 30, 2021) – Luvluv, the 4-year-old son of Lakerville, came rolling through the stretch to win the 9th race at Santa Anita, a $63,000 allowance going one mile over the fast main track.
Bumped at the start, Luvluv was last for the first five furlongs. He began to close around the far turn and was widest of all at the top of the stretch. He uncorked a strong turn of foot and a sub-twelve second final eighth to get up in the final strides to win by a half-length.
Luvluv was bred by the partnership of Michael Neuman and Francoise Dupuis and he races for his breeders and additional partner Jean Pierre Dupuis. The victory takes his earning to $98,400. Trained by John Sadler, he was produced by the winning Fasliyev mare, Lunata (IRE).
