Lakerville Son Leads Home Harris Farms-sired Superfecta in Santa Anita MSW

Arcadia, CA (February 19, 2020) – Lakerville son Luvluv closed with a rush to lead home a maiden special weight superfecta of Harris Farms-sired runners in the 3rd race at Santa Anita.

Luvluv was bumped at the start of the six and one-half furlong turf sprint, but he overcame that to settle in midpack in the field of nine. He began to close around the turn, but the traffic ahead forced in him into the five path. Despite the wide trip, he had plenty left for the finish. He caught the leader inside the the final furlong and he drew away to win by two and one-quarter lengths. Filling out the superfecta was the debuting second place finisher In Vronsky Style (Vronsky), followed by Racetrackers (Tizbud) and Queen’s Code (Desert Code).

Luvluv was bred in California by the partnership of Francoise Dupuis and Michael Newman. He races for his breeders and Jean Pierre Dupuis. Trained by John Sadler, he was produced by the winning Fasliev mare, Lucera (IRE).
