Albany, CA (November 7, 2021) – Acclamation son Table for Ten overcame trouble at the break to make his second consecutive visit to the winner’s circle after the 6th race at Golden Gate Fields, a mile and one-sixteenth allowance over the Tapeta.
His journey began getting pinched back just after the break. Jockey Pedro Terrero let him find his best stride in sixth for the opening half-mile. They had moved into fourth after six furlongs and he was ready to roll in the final furlongs. Moved out from the inside for the drive, he hit the front a furlong from home and drew away to win by two and one-quarter lengths.
Table for Ten was bred by Old English Rancho and he was produced by the Sky Mesa mare, Mesaatmimiscafe. He has won or placed in ten of his fourteen starts for the partnership of Dino Forristall, Herb Robinson, Heather Taylor and her trainer, Bill McLean.
