Multiple G1-Winner Deterministic’s Half-Sister in foal to Liam’s Map Leads Major Reduction Catalog
Coalinga, CA (August 6, 2025 – Nu Pi Lambda, the half-sister to Deterministic, the multiple Grade 1-winning millionaire and top 2025 turf runner, in foal to his sire, leads the wide-ranging offerings of Major Reduction of Harris Farms to be conducted August 14-19, 2025 on the Fasig-Tipton Digital Sale platform.
The chestnut City Zip mare is carrying her first foal on an early March cover to Liam’s Map, the sire of her illustrious half-brother, who is currently on a three graded-race win streak that includes back-to-back wins in the Resorts World Casino Manhattan S. (G1) and the Fan Duel Fourstardave S. (G1). A graded stakes winner at a mile on dirt early in his 3-year-old season, he has won an additional five graded stakes since switching to the turf. Currently, his earnings stand at $1,988,515 and he is the among the favorites for the Breeders’ Cup Mile in November at Del Mar.
Nu Pi Lambda comes from one of the most prolific families in the American Stud Book through the grand matron, 1983’s Broodmare of the Year, fifth dam Courtly Dee and her stakes winning and producing daughter, Aquilegia. Nu Pi Lamda’s dam, the winning Speightstown mare, Giulio’s Jewel, is a 100% percent producer from three to race. Her stakes-producing second dam, Acadiana, is a half-sister to five graded stakes winners, and a stakes-placed runner who was second in the Breeders’ Cup Juvenile (G1). Her third dam, the stakes winning Amelia, is a half-sister to stakes winning and former Champion Freshman Sire in Great Britain, Bertolini and to the second dam of Breeders’ Cup Classic (G1) winner, Bayern.
