Yodelsong Breaks Through for Thorn Song

Del Mar, CA (July 31, 2015)-Yodelsong a juvenile filly by the late Thorn Song, crushed a maiden special field by six plus lengths in her racing debut.

From the Speightstown broodmare Laugh N Yodel the filly was bred and is owned by Heinz H. Steinmann.

Bred in Kentucky by Pinnacle Racing LLC and Taylor Made Farm Inc., Thorn Song won eight of 29 starts including the Shadwell Turf Mile S.-G1 and the Shoemaker Mile S.-G1, and earned $1,132,700. Racing for Zayat Stables from 2005-2009, the big gray was trained by Dale Romans and Mike Mitchell.

Look for the various Thorn Song yearlings at the Pleasanton sale on August 11.
