Tamarando Filly Outclasses Golden Gate Foes
Albany, CA (May 22, 2022) – Tam’s Little Angel, the two-time stakes-place daughter of Tamarando, romped to an easy victory in the 5th race at Golden Gate Fields, a one mile allowance over the all weather surface.
Carrying top weight, she attended the pace around the first turn and soon took over. In hand down the backstretch, her lead increase as she came off the final turn and into the stretch. Two lengths became three. Three lengths became four and at at the wire, she had outclass her foes on the day to win by five and one-half lengths.
Tam’s Little Angel has never finished worse than third in her nine race career and she has earned $110,972. Trained by Steven Specht, she is a second generation homebred for Mr. and Mrs. Larry D. Williams, who also bred her sire. She is out of the Lucky Pulpit (also a Williams homebred) mare, Angel Diane.
