Murphy’s Tiger Now Two-for-Three

Albany, CA (February 5, 2022) – Murphy’s Tiger came home best in his first attempt against winners with a frontrunning score in the 2nd race at Golden Gate Fields going five and one-half furlongs over the all weather surface.

The 4-year-old son of Smiling Tiger was the inside speed and he made the most of his post. He was pressured by many, but he outran them all into the stretch and kept clear to win by a length and three-quarters.

Murphy’s Tiger is a homebred racing for Jethorse LLC and he is trained by Tim McCanna. He was produced by the winning You and I mare, Youtheprizeandi.
