Multiple Stakes Winner Super Tuesday Dies At Harris Farms

Coalinga, CA (October 5, 2016)-Harris Farms is saddened to report that its stakes-winning broodmare, Super Tuesday, died on Oct. 1 due to complications from colic.

Super Tuesday (Political Ambition-Vaderette, by Skywalker) won five races during her career, including the Work The Crowd Stakes at Golden Gate Fields and the California Sires Stakes at Hollywood Park. Super Tuesday was 5-4-4 out of 17 lifetime starts and earned $265,910.

As a broodmare, Super Tuesday produced four winners from five foals to race including Quick Meeting ($152,872), Maybe Tuesday ($169,302) and Doris Johnson ($47,253). Her current 2-year-old, Primary Target (by Thorn Song), is in training at Santa Anita.

Super Tuesday was owned and bred by Harris Farms and Sheila Williams, and was trained by Dean Pederson.
