Clubhouse Ride Juvenile Graduates at Del Mar

Del Mar, CA (August 3, 2019)-Club Aspen, a juvenile son of Clubhouse Ride, graduated from the maiden ranks scoring by three parts of a length in a August 2nd Del Mar Cal-bred maiden special event.

Club Aspen “angled in and dueled between horses, put a head in front between foes in midstretch, fought back just off the rail under left handed urging in deep stretch and gamely prevailed.” He stopped the timer in 1:12.9.

Bred by Harris Farms and sold at the Fasig Tipton June Sale, Club Aspen was knocked down at $55,000 and sold to owner Larry Lewis. The colt has now earned $40,260 in his two starts.

Clubhouse Ride was also represented by a Monmouth Park maiden winner on August 3.

Clubhouse Ride is currently the number two second crop sire in the state. The $1.3 million multiple G2 winner is by leading sire Candy Ride (ARG) out of Seeking Results, by Seeking the Gold.
