Big Del Mar Debut for Raul Rosas!

Del Mar, CA (July 27, 2017)-Late-blooming Raul Rosas, a strapping Harris Farms home-bred rewarded the patience of his connections with a wire-to-wire victory in a $61,725 maiden special at 6 1/2 furlongs July 27.

After setting fast early fractions of 21.98 and 44.99, he drew off to win by nearly six lengths under a “long hold”.

The 4-year-old son of Thorn Song named for long-time stallion and assistant farm manager Raul Rosas, received his early lessons from farm trainer and co-owner Per Antonsen.
